Create a storytelling landing page that reflects Marina's vision and quality of her course
Get users to sign up to the waitlist for the upcoming course
Allow Marina to easily update the landing page herself in the future
My Process
Testimonials as core of the storytelling experience
Marina built first iteration in Wix on her own, and the most valuable part of it was a collection of around 20 testimonials from students who had already taken her course. I saw a great opportunity to gather user needs and pain points directly from her students' feedback.
By analyzing and highlighting key insights from the testimonials, I identified the three most important values her course provided.
Using these insights, I wrote the website's copy that focused on the course’s benefits that speak directly to user most common pain points. User-centered design ftw.
Landing page as a safe space, not a sales page
I spoke to Marina about her brand and what she wants to achieve with the website.
Hearing her talk about her passion and sensing her purpose of helping young people re-love themselves was so inspiring.
I wanted to translate her personality and warmth into the website with soft and harmonious design and animations so it doesn't feel sales-y but as a safe space. I focused on the user when creating the wireframes and the branding to create just that - a storytelling safe space for her targeted audience.

Web Development
I choose to do the website in Wix for client's convenience as she has already built her iniital website in wix and paid the premium for a year. Wix is a tool that allows you to create websites yourself but it's a lot limited in fine-tuning design. Understanding CSS and HTML I was able to do some fixes with custom code that otherwise I wouldn't be able to do (like fixing the old style figures to tubular numbers)…
